Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

I am a strong believer in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice because a person will experience positive change in a short period of time. This approach will teach you the tools and strategies to interrupt negative thought patterns which will ultimately lead to positive feelings and behaviors. Cognitive behavioral therapy has been proven to be the most effective type of psychotherapy to help address depression and anxiety.

 

Mindfulness

Allows you to live more fully in the moment rather than worrying about all the things that bog us down in life. You will learn a variety of techniques that allow you to savor the moment instead of dwelling on the past and future.

 

Stress Management

I will teach you a holistic approach to manage your emotional and physical symptoms including

  • Relaxation exercises

  • Visualization

  • Coaching

  • Building on strengths

  • Journaling

  • Compartmentalizing
